Pippin – All 4 of the credit card logos you are using in your plugin for Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express for your Payment Gateways appear to be well out of date.

The one for Mastercard is perhaps the most out of date of all and does not look to me like a logo anyone would recognize. Here is a screen shot showing examples of the current logos from Paypal’s current checkout screen:

Hope that helps. I can replace the logos myself on my site in the /wp-content/plugins/easy-digital-downloads/assets/images/icons folder but an updated version of the plugin would be much appreciated.

I recreated all the logos. You can download them here in GIF if you want to update yours. I also included the PSD file I used to create them with all the layers are there for each. I didn’t bother to round the corners like the original logos, but you are welcome to edit them in the PSD file to round the corners if you would like to:

The Amazon Payments logo appears to be out of date too, but I have not updated that one in my set.

I did replace the PayPal logo in my set too though as it was out of date as well.

Unfortunately the new and corrected logo files I installed wont work on the checkout page because there is a redirect in the code that is still pulling the files from https://i0.wp.com/

The new logos though do show on the Payment Gateway settings page because there it pulls them in locally.

Which php file has the code I need to change so that on the checkout page it pulls the logo files from my local server and gets rid of the redirect?

You will want to update them by copying the template files / folder over to your theme. See this video: https://easydigitaldownloads.com/videos/template-files/

Thanks Pippin. That worked perfectly. One strange thing though. After I copied them over to the edd_templates folder in my theme they showed up perfectly. But then I edited a couple of them again, uploaded them again to replace my first edits, but the changes refuse to take effect. I tried deleted them and then replacing them, coping over them to replace them, then deleting them completely, waiting a few minutes and then uploading them again and no matter what I do they keep reverting back to my original edits and wont show my latest edits of the GIF files. I have never seen something like this before. It has got me quite puzzled. As a test I even tried replacing all of them with just black colored gif files and still they show my original edited files I uploaded and wont show the black colored files I uploaded as a test. It isn’t a caching issue for sure. It’s got me.

I got it sorted now. Thanks.

    Glad to hear it!

    Hi,
I’ve had notification from WorldPay that I need to update my Visa logo between 6-30th Oct 2015.
Q!: where do I ring these on my WordPress website?
    Q2: how do I update?
Sorry, still a bit of a novice …

Sorry, I mean FIND then on my website!!

You will need to contact WorldPay about that, sorry.
