I noticed a problem in my WooCommerce checkout in using Braintree credit card payment: credit card numbers are not visible once you start typing them to the text fields. The problem is only visual since when the number is correct, the borders of the text field turn green and payments do go through (without seeing any numbers there). This problem has appeared in Firefox, Chrome and IE and with different devices. Sometimes, VERY rarely, the numbers do show, which makes me confused.

I am not an expert in this and my web designer decided to go on a holiday… I would really appreciate any help! You can test the problem by putting this item in the shopping cart (“Liity Nyt”) and going to checkout (“Kassa”). The credit card field is in the bottom of that page.

By the way, the theme’s file was styling the input field to have a tiny height: https://vantac.com/wp-content/themes/customizr-pro/inc/assets/css/tc_common.min.css?ver=1.2.17

Hi,

Great that you got your problem fixed loriframe!

Unfortunately I tried Andrew’s code in the theme’s (Salient) css, by changing the style.css file and with custom css manager plugin. No change with my site! I am beginning to think it’s a different problem than input having tiny height?

The problem is definitely from the WooComemrce Braintree Gateway plugin, which is an entirely different plugin from the WooCommerce plugin.

Your plugin is doing something special, it’s generating input fields from JavaScript: https://assets.braintreegateway.com/hosted-fields/2.15.4/braintree-hosted-fields-internal.js

The issue is that your plugin is not actually generating the input fields.

Otherwise I would recommend using another plugin.
