Can you show us a page with the issue?

Yes. Take a look at any page on https://www.owen.org (I’ve temporarily reactivated the plugin). The mobile (“hamburger”) menu appears but doesn’t do anything if you click it. If I deactivate Credit Tracker, it works as expected.

Bit difficult to debug because of your minification plugin, so I’ll probably wait for the author to respond.

    (@owenbarder)

Ah, sorry about that. I’ve turned off minification to assist debugging.

It doesn’t look like the ‘functions.js’ file is being loaded for some reason.

It works OK if I deactivate Credit Tracker. Is there some way in which Credit Tracker might interfere with the loading of functions.js ?

Hmm not sure, can I see the mobile menu working fine?

    Thread Starter owenbarder

    (@owenbarder)

Yes: I have now deactivated Credit Tracker and the menu is now working fine. (You may need to flush your browser cache, obviously).

I don’t know what the problem is, but for now can you put the theme’s functions.js file in your Child Theme folder and then enqueue that?

Thanks. That requires some thinking, and some tools I don’t currently have (including a decent internet connection) so I’ll do that when I get a chance at home.

    Hi Owen,

    Sorry for this inconvenience.

Did this issue appears with the latest Credit Tracker release 1.1.5 or even earlier versions also had this?

    Best Regards,

Would it be possible to activate plugin again to investigate on this issue?

    Thread Starter owenbarder

    (@owenbarder)

Thanks. I have reactivated the plugin. The menu is not working.

This used to work – but I cannot be certain that it was the most recent plugin update that broke it. (I think it was).

    Thanks

    Thank you.

There is an HTTP500 in the console:
    Request URL:https://www.owen.org/
    Status Code:500 Internal Server Error

therefore other files (e.g. functions.js) cannot be loaded.

Do you have access to the WP logs? Any hints there?

Checked also non-mobile mode, same error on every page
