    Hi there,
    Two questions
    1) I have changed folder permissions, still Critical CSS tab seems that it cannot write the css file. Any clue on what might be the issue? Which folder should I check for the css files?

    2) Old Critical CSS plugin had an option to generate critical css based on the page template. How can I setup to only get critical css for certain templates and not all pages/urls

    Thank you

    hi Fotis;
    1. critical CSS is stored in wp-content/uploads/ao_ccss/

    2. by default “AO CCSS” will generated one rule per page type (e.g. fs_front_page, is_archive, is_single, …) except for the is_page type, where each page gets a path-based rule. if I understand correctly you want to avoid the latter, which can be accomplished by disabling the “Force path-based rules to be generated for pages?” in settings -> autoptimize -> critical css -> advanced settings.

    hope this helps,
    frank
