    Hi there!

    CriticalCSS was working just fine until yesterday. Now I am in that situation where there is one rule is_front_page with a P status and all the rest with a N status.

    I already tried to disable and enable the critical css feature, reinstalled the plugin and such.

    I installed WP Control and there is a task called ao_ccss_queue set to a few minutes in the future – So I believe it is all okay? Need help finding out what is going on.

    Thank you!

    hey wonderingthi;
    can you enable “debug mode” in Autoptimize -> Critical CSS -> Advanced settings and can you share your site’s URL?

    OK, I’m seeing

    2020-07-03T07:03:08+00:00 – [DD] Queue is already running, skipping the attempt to run it again

    can you:
    1. lower the request limit (under “advanced settings”)
    2. remove the lockfile wp-content/uploads/ao_ccss/queue.lock

    Nice! The rules are being generated again, thank you!
    So, what causes this problem?

    a too high request limit, causing the PHP process to get killed without the queue lock having been removed, so the queue remains locked. hence my proposal to lower the request limit ??
