• When I go to the calendar page in admin (../wp-admin/index.php?page=calendar) I get error message “There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

I have been using the plugin for years without any issues and I had not made any recent updates so I’m confused by how this is triggering the error.

Any help fixing this is appreciated!

  • I’m getting this message too. Looking at the logs it’s a memory allocation error (allowed memory size exhausted). Tried increasing WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT a couple times, up to 2048M on a test server and it still dies.

Looks like the script is doing a database update or modification that’s running out of memory. We have big post and user tables (535K and 431K records, respectively) which is likely a contributing factor.

Would love to get suggestions for a workaround… Thanks!

This ended up being a temporary issue on our site…it magically fixed itself the next day and has not been a problem since. I recommend giving it 24 hrs to see if the same happens with you.

Thanks. We’ve re-tried many times over the past few months and the issue persists, at least for us. Sticking to an outdated version of the plugin.
