  • Hi @homewhere

I’d be glad to help you get this sorted!

I am trying to logon to my dashboard but getting critical error and cannot.

Is this occurring when trying to access your WordPress admin dashboard? Or is it happening when clicking on the WooCommerce menu at the left?

If you are able to access your Installed plugins list, please disable all plugins and switch your theme to Storefront: https://woocommerce.com/storefront/?aff=10486&cid=1131038 and re activate WooCommerce. Does the error appears again?

If you cannot access your WordPress dashboard at all, please ask your host to disable the plugins from the site’s directory.

Once this is done, please re activate WooCommerce. If no error is there, then the problem is related to another plugin on your site.

Let me know how that goes.

Hi, i am trying to logon to my dashboard through Bluehost. As soon as I attempt I get critical error and cannot access the dashboard at all. I can access my cpanel through bluehost.

I had this with another theme called “Skatepark” and got email about entering a recovery mode. Might be worth looking into, check your spam.

It allowed me back to the dashboard and select another theme and all was good.

    Hi @homewhere

Hi, i am trying to logon to my dashboard through Bluehost. As soon as I attempt I get critical error and cannot access the dashboard at all. I can access my cpanel through bluehost.

If you have access to your cPanel, you can follow the steps I found on this BlueHost support article to disable the theme and plugins: https://www.bluehost.com/help/article/wordpress-disable-themes-plugins

As we do not manage your site it would be best if you reach out to Bluehost support before making any type of changes.

Once they disable the theme and plugins, you can manually reactivate WooCommerce and change your theme.

You can also check @dietredthunder recommendation. (Thanks for the suggestion!)

    Hi there @homewhere,

Hope you managed to access your site, Alison! We haven’t heard back from you for a while, so I’m going to mark this post as resolved now.

If you need any further help here, please let us know. Or, if you need additional help with the Storefront theme, please start a new thread and we’ll be able to help you out there.

    Thank you!
