    Updating to 3.28.1 today caused a critical error. I rolled back to the previous version so you can’t see the actual error on our site. I included the critical error message from the WordPress email notification below. Wanted to pass this along in case others experience a similar issue.

    I haven’t turned off all of the other plugins (I realize it could be a plugin conflict). This is a WooCommerce site with dozens of other active plugins. I can do that on staging but will do that pending your initial response.

    WordPress version 6.1.1
    Active theme: Pro Theme; Child Theme (version 1.0.0)
    Current plugin: MetaSlider (version 3.28.1)
    PHP version 8.1.13

    Error Details
    =============
    An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 9 of the file /home/XXXXXXX/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ml-slider/lib/appsero/src/Client.php. Error message: Cannot declare class Appsero\Client, because the name is already in use

    Hi @toddbenton

    Thanks for using MetaSlider.

    Apologies – we released this plugin update because of an update to Appsero. It looks like there may be a conflict with at least one other plugin that has Appsero.

    We’re working on it now and should have a fix shortly.

    @stevejburge Thanks, I thought that might be the case which is why I posted as soon as I encountered the error.

    Thanks @toddbenton. You were the first one to report this and we appreciate it.

    This should only happen on sites that have MetaSlider installed, plus one of a small group of plugins that also have a specific AppSero configuration.

    3.28.2 is releasing now with the fix.
