• As reported by others, the recent updates caused fatal critical errors. This is frankly unacceptable in 2024, with the many tools available to debug code and the plethora of safe environments and workflows to operate before deploying code to the public.
    It’s not simply an annoyance; it can potentially disrupt and damage businesses.
    I have of course disabled the auto-updates. But if I have to rely on checking the reviews every time there is an update to see if it’s going to break my WordPress site, maybe it’s not even worth keeping. I’m sure there are other solutions, so I guess I will check those.
