    Hello
    After adding the free plugin on a fresh WordPress installation, I received an email with “Your website has a technical problem”.

    Information:
    WordPress version 5.9.3
    Active theme: Twenty Twenty-One (version 1.5)
    Current plugin: Simple File List (version 4.4.9)
    PHP version 8.0.16

    Error details:

    An error of type E_ERROR was found in line 28 of file /var/www/vhosts/hoster/folder/wp-content/plugins/simple-file-list/ee-list-display.php verursacht.     Hi. This error is caused by PHP 8. The specific issue is that there are no files in your file list directory. Add at least one file and the error will go away. Revert to PHP 7.4 and this will no longer be an error, just a warning.

    An update is coming soon to address this.
