After manually updated Yoast SEO plugin I get a critical error on one of the sites I maintain. When I turn on debug I get this message:

Notice: wp_enqueue_script was called incorrectly. Scripts and styles should not be registered or enqueued until the wp_enqueue_scripts, admin_enqueue_scripts, or login_enqueue_scripts hooks. This notice was triggered by the utm_contact_form7_scripts handle. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.3.0.) in /www/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5313 Deprecated: WPSEO_Language_Utils::get_user_locale is deprecated since version WPSEO 15.5! Use get_user_locale instead. in /www/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4861 Deprecated: WPSEO_Language_Utils::get_user_locale is deprecated since version WPSEO 15.5! Site has been rolled back to a previous backup and Yoast SEO 15.9 is active

  • +1 here.
Massive HTTP 500 & 401 within Elementor so I can’t work. Even WordPress Critical Error messages. Deactivated Yoast and everything was fine again. Hope, there has been no damage done to the database. Rollbacks would cause some work. Plugin update with fix would be best.

@yellowfellow333 We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue on your site.

We recently released a hotfix to correct the bugs that were reported in the 16.1 release. You can view the details of the changelog here: https://yoast.com/help/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/

Can you please try updating to version 16.1.1 and let us know whether this resolves the issue for you?

?? works like usually. Thank you for the immediate fixing.

I am still having the same issue, I have rolled back again because when I tired updating to 16.1.1 it came up with a WordPress Critical Issue
