Critical error after Update to 6.1.1

    On Saturday I clicked “update to WordPress 6.1.1.” from the WordPress dashboard.

    About 20 minutes later, and ever since, the website has been down with the message, “critical error on this website”.

    Today I followed the directions to do a manual update on this page: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/updating-wordpress/#manual-update

    After I did that, now I get the WSD on the main page, and on the wp-admin page I get, “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” I have not received any emails in my admin inbox.

    I cannot access the WordPress dashboard. Only access to my server is via FTP, SSH, cPanel.
