Critical Error after updating plugin
-
After updating to the latest version of the plugin, my site shut down and I was shown a “critical” error message. I tried deleting the plugin entirely, then reinstalling, but had the same issue. I have had to disable the plugin until it is fixed.
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Sorry for the inconvenience caused by the error.
Can you kindly share with us the logs/ critical error message which will enable us to identify what is causing the error? Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Elvis.Sorry, i don’t know how to do that. Is there another way to get you what you need?
You can goto FooGallery -> System Info and paste the result you get here. That data will help us replicate your environment and hopefully reproduce the error from our end.
You can also take a screenshot of the “critical” error message you got.

)Thanks for sharing that information with us.
It has enabled us to create an environment similar to yours to be able to reproduce the issue and find out if FooGallery is the plugin causing it.
For this test, we installed FooGallery 1.10.1 and used WordPress version 5.6.1, PHP version 7.4.3, and the default Twenty Twenty theme. There were no other plugins installed.
After trying this and carrying out further analysis, we have been unable to reproduce the issue. We highly suspect that it’s probably caused by a plugin conflict between the updated FooGallery plugin and another plugin you have installed.
To find out the other plugin causing the conflict, you’ll have to troubleshoot your site, which will involve using a really simple troubleshooting technique. Here’s a guide on how to carry it out and the plugin you’ll need to safely do so without breaking your site or inconveniencing your site’s visitors: https://fooplugins.com/documentation/general/general-troubleshooting/health-check-debug/
Kindly try this and let us know how it goes.
Kind regards,
Elvis.Hi, thanks for the help.
I followed all of your suggestions, and still proudced the error.
I:Made sure the plugin was enabled first. I installed health check, disabled all plugins in troubleshooting mode, and then enabled foo gallery. It produced a fatal error. I then tried several different themes, with the same result.
If possible, could you kindly copy and paste or take a screenshot of that fatal error message that is displayed on your site’s page (whether it’s on the admin section or on the front-end of the site) as you were troubleshooting so that we can be able to analyze it and figure out exactly what’s causing this issue?
Thanks in advance.
KInd regards,
Elvis. Thanks for your help so far in trying to get to the bottom of this problem.
I setup an environment with 15 of the plugins you are using. Some I could not find, or are premium plugins. Also setup the same WP version and PHP version, but I still cannot get the error you are seeing.
Do you have any custom code in your functions.php file that references anything related to FooGallery or WPThumb by any chance?
Do you have a staging site? If so, on staging, please can you attempt to deactivate all plugins and change your theme to the default twenty twenty theme. Then activate FooGallery to see if that works?
We have fixed this error for another website and would like you to test it on yours please : https://we.tl/t-RtMeKnA5JZ
You can delete the current version you have installed and then upload this zip and activate.
Please let us know
v1.10.3 has been released which should fix your problem.
Please update and let us know
