    Hello @beachholiday,

    Sorry for the inconvenience,

We have released the new version of Booster for WooCommerce and Booster plus with the above fix. Can you upgrade the Booster plus plugin and give it a try?

If still you are facing the same issue, Could you please export your Booster settings, and error log and share the file with me so that I could replicate the issue?

    Kind Regards,
    RonyP – Support Team

    Hello @beachholiday , @scollonp

It seems you are using both free and plus versions of the booster plugin.
If you are using the plus version, you do not need to activate the free version.

Please try to deactivate the free version for now if you are using the paid one.

    Kind Regards,
    RonyP – Support Team

Is this what causes the error @ronyp?

    Dear @ronyp

    Many thanks for this tip.

I wasn’t aware that the free Booster plugin should be de-activated, if we also use the paid Booster Plus version, i.e. Plus seemed like a paid add-on.

When we roll back, we are seeing the wp_mail pluggable function error message:

    OnPaste.20220901-090625

It is a pity that your solution for Booster Plus on this page was removed by an admin:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/critical-email-error-after-update-to-5-6-1/

Before it was removed, I remember seeing this solution:

    Files to replace:
    /wp-content/plugins/booster-plus-for-woocommerce/includes/mini-plugin/wcj-mini-plugin.php
    /wp-content/plugins/booster-plus-for-woocommerce/booster-plus-for-woocommerce.php

    Source Files with fixes:
    https://storage.booster.io/email-fixes/booster_wp_aug2022_email_fix.zip

Can you confirm that this is still correct?

    Piet

I just found this, I always (for years) had both plugins active…

I thought it was the way it should be. Like Free been the basic plugin and Plus just the extensions.

I am completely sure that was the way we were told to do.

Well, now I just have the Plus (5.6.2) active and the Free deleted and I am working fine.

    Thanks!

I too believe both plugins were required originally, @caban13. This must have changed somewhere along the line.

    Dear @gravid7 and @ronyp

Many thanks for this developing this fix.

It came through this morning as an update and does indeed solve the issues.

We have de-activated / deleted the free Booster plugin and only have the paid Booster Plus plugin active now.

    Many thanks for your help.

    Piet
