I am getting this error / can’t update the php version to 8 and 8.1.
Php 7.4 works well.

Howdy @jimygatsby

Since PHP version 7.4 works well, I’d recommend changing it back to the working version since it’s the recommended version for most WordPress plugins and themes.

You can see here the Server recommendations for the WooCommerce:

https://woocommerce.com/document/server-requirements/

But you may need to double-check all your plugins/themes to check to which version they are compatible.

You can also try a conflict test to double-check where exactly the error is coming from.

Thank you for your reply.

I already deactivate all plugins, except Woocommerce, to check.
The problem is coming from Woocommerce.
Also change to an other theme, the problem exist still.

Woocommerce writes on your link:
– PHP version 7.4 or greater, so 8 and 8.1 is greater right?

Kaliforms and mailpoet, i delete/remove long time ago, is this crash may coming from here?
In phpmyadmin, i can’t find this both folder.
Why Woocommerce is still showing this both plugin names?

I found an instance of the same issue in Github – it seems related.

Can you try switching the site language to English and test again? If you can’t do it on your live site you can clone it to a staging environment and perform tests without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin. Link: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/.

Thank you for the answer, this looks like the same problem as my.

I have changed the language to English and German Formal.

Unfortunately, this don’t change anything.

Thanks for trying that, but sorry to hear that it didn’t help.

In that case, I would recommend switching to PHP 7.4 for the time being, till this bug is taken care of.
