Critical Error in Seat Counter

Since the latest update 3.8.7, I am getting a critical error on the Event pages. Here is one example: https://passifloramosaics.com/workshop/mosaic-art-workshop-july-22-23-2023/.
I am on Cloudways Vultr + PHP 8.
I cannot downgrade to 3.8.6. Is there an interim fix?
