Hi, I’m receiving this error only in the Site Kit page “Error: There has been a critical error on this website.” because of this I can’t view analytics or deactivate the existing property. Can you please help? I have tried clearing my cache, and reinstalling the plugin.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @paynelessmedia thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re receiving a critical error. I’d be happy to help you with this. Please can share the following information:

    1. Your?Site Health information. You can?use this form?to share privately if preferred. Please also include your hosting provider here.
    2. Do you see any warnings or errors when checking your Site Health status (Tools > Site Health > Status), which differs from your Site Health information? Such errors may include REST endpoint references.
    3. Do you encounter the same in Site Kit when following the troubleshooting steps here?

Once you have shared the information above I can help you with the next steps to take with this. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

This has happened to two of my websites now, both with this plugin. Updating it has caused critical errors on both sites. Seems a dangerous update!

@leecollings If you are also experiencing issues with your Site Kit could you please open your own individual support topic and we will be happy to help you there. Please ensure to share all the requested information above in your topic, thanks!

No need, because I’ve fixed both issues myself. I was raising the point that this update has knocked out several other websites now that I Wouldn’t have realised until I checked them.

I would suggest you peer review this update that you’ve sent out.

@leecollings If you could kindly share the steps you took to resolve this then this may be of help to others who encounter the same. We will of course look into what could be causing this. Any information you can share would be greatly appreciated.

Starting to also get this problem guys! Site kit update is crashing our websites… I am just renaming the plugin folder for now, as the quickest way to get the website back online.

    Please stop this update ASAP!!!!
