Critical Error on plugin update 1.3.2

    Hi,

    After updating to the latest version of the plugin, the backend of my client’s site was faced with a critical error. Only deactivating the plugin solved this issue – is there a fix coming? Thank you.

    Hi Ryan (and Ben), sorry I must have missed your first response!

    I have not updated the plugin again, in fear it may break the client’s site again.

    Website is built on DIVI theme, Latest version of WordPress 6

    Have there been any other reports of issues with the latest update of your plugin?

    Maybe your plugin is not compatible with PHP 8?

    After activating the website got an critical error message.

    Thanks for reaching out for help with GoDaddy Payments for WooCommerce.

    I tested this on my site with PHP 8.1.13 and the latest version of GoDaddy Payments (1.3.4) and there were no errors when activating the plugin or processing a transaction.

    Do you have the 1.3.4 version installed as well? Can you please let me know which version of PHP 8 you are using?

    Thanks for sending the URL. The OpenSSL error in godaddy-payments_off/vendor/firebase/php-jwt/src/JWT.php would indicate an issue with the certificate, though it doesn’t appear that the staging site is using SSL.

    Did this error occur after updating GoDaddy Payments for WooCommerce on the staging site, or were you installing the plugin for the first time?

    We use this plugin only at our staging site, because the live site is an managed wp server incl. GD core plugins. We want to move from managed wp to cpanel hosting within godaddy packets

    I worked with another merchant with the same fatal error in /godaddy-payments_off/vendor/firebase/php-jwt/src/JWT.php:211 . In their case, it turned out to be related to their theme.

    Can you please briefly change to a default theme and try to activate the plugin and let me know if this helps?
