Seems the translation file might be overriding some HTML which is in the translation string. Technically, we should not have HTML in translation strings, and this is on our list to fix, but if it does appear in the translation file it will override and cause issues.
Can you check if this might be the case here?

no, we have not translated the plugin, I think the issue is in the Italian translation shipped with the plugin itself.

you’ll see that there is a percentage character, but in the english original string the same character was correctly encoded :

We did a release today but unfortunately this change didn’t quite make it. I have tweaked the Italian translation file and this will be fixed permanently on the next release.

Also, we’ll be working on updating our translations soon. My Italian is a little rusty, last time I used it was in high school, but I do know some of the phrases in here were rushed/skipped over or are slightly outdated now as we’ve updated the strings in the plugin. I updated a few of these as best I could. If you wanted to submit any changes please let me know.
