Critical error with image upload

I am working on a directory on a local server, but I’m having a critical error to do with the images. The images I upload with a listing don’t work (I get the placeholders) and I have big long error messages in pages to do with a listing’s pictures. It appears on the Single Listings page, but also in the back end editor if I try and edit the affected listings. If I edit a broken listing from the front end, the grey box under “images & video” just loads forever.
I have the test listings that came with the plugin and they show their media just fine, but display the error in the Single Listing page as well.
Is this because I’m in a test environment? I am not sure which part of the extremely long error messages I should post here to help diagnose. Thanks
