You can download fresh copies of those plugins directly from wordpress. Or add them as new plugins to the wordpress installation on the new server. The plugin settings are all stored in the database, so a database backup is essential.

Note that if you have access to the control panel (e.g. cPanel), creating a backup there is much faster than via ftp.

Hello, thank you for your reply… It means that those files that haven’t been downloaded are not very essential and I can install them later on the new server right,?

I have downloaded the .SQL database files too…

Will these be enough to migrate the site to the new server,?

Regarding the google-site-kit plugin, I would delete the /google-site-kit/ directory from the /wp-content/ directory of the backup, as it is missing some files that may cause unexpected behaviour. Then, install a fresh version of the plugin when the backup is set up on the new server.

I notice that one of the errors in error_3.png is related to a wp-statistics php file. This looks like it generates information for the control panel. Is it possible to download that file individually and add it manually to the /wp-statistics/admin/pages/ directory?

I would go ahead and install the backup on the new server, but keep access to the old server. Then test the new installation and make sure that the site is fully functional on the new server.

Actually, I don’t see any option to download the files directly/ individually from the IONOS dashboard/ Cpanel (I am using IONOS hosting by the way), and is quite different.

When I took a closer look, there are around 4 plugins that are causing the errors… Do you think it’s okay to delete those directories (including Google Sitekit, wp statistics, and WordPress Security) and install the remaining on the new server,?

By the way, I also do have a site backup through ‘Updraft plus’… Will that be of help?
