CRITICAL : Posts and Pages Dissappearing when upgrading to 2.3.3 !

  • I am very scared right now.

    Thanks God, I made a backup of the database before updating.

    I was using a old version of wordpress 2.1.x ( most probably ).

    After replacing all files ( except for wp-contents ), I ran the /wp-admin/upgrade.php and after upgrading, all posts and pages went out !

    Comments are still there – but no posts or pages.

    What might have caused this and what can I do right now ?

    As of now, I have restored the old database, but the files are from the new version – so my Admin panel has become unusable – please help ??
