• Hi all,

Just got this new plugin in place for set up and sandbox testing and had it enabled in WP but no locations “enabled” yet, and obviously in sandbox mode. This error was making normal checkout throw an error on the front-end making it look like transactions didn’t go through when they actually were.

CRITICAL Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get_meta() on null in wp-content/plugins/local-delivery-by-doordash/admin/class-woocommerce-doordash-admin.php:593

It’s possible it might be caused because I have disabled the billing fields (except zip code) on the checkout screen, but not 100% sure until I delve further into testing things. Just wanted to pass it along.

Super excited for this integration otherwise!

Hi Brett, thanks for reaching out and apologies for our delayed response here. We’re just about to publish version 1.0.5 of the plugin, which addresses a minor issue with the woocommerce_email_recipient_new_order filter that is most likely causing the error you’re seeing. When you have a moment, please download 1.0.5, make sure that at least 1 location is enabled + that billing fields are enabled at checkout, and let us know if you’re still seeing this error.

I appreciate the follow-up! I’ll give it a go when the new version drops. Looking forward to the full integration here soon.
