I installed the CriticalCSS plugin from the Autoptimize tab and now when I click on the CriticalCSS tab it says

“Ooops. Please activate the “Inline and Defer CSS” option on Autoptimize’s main settings page to use this power-up.”

The settings page defaults to the JS, CSS & HTML tab, with no mention of CriticalCSS on it on the latest version of Autoptimize. Is this feature still available, or am I looking in the wrong location to enable it?

“inline & defer” is an option on Autoptimize’s default tab, under “CSS options” wpandrew ??

    hope this helps,

Also, are there any best practices with regards as to which features to use/not use on Autoptimize with a site using Cloudflare? I am not technically savvy enough to understand which optimization conflicts might inadvertently hinder performance, but I have read that using Autoptimize can be helpful when used with Cloudflare..

in general they work well together. rocket loader can be a bit tricky, best is to configure Autoptimize fully and only then try rocket loader to see if it helps improve perf. more.
