CRM invoicing – discount and shipping

    Dear Jetpack-Team,

    I have one suggestion;

    If you enable the following functions for invoicing it would be smart, if this position is only displayed on the invoice.pdf, if the amount is higher than 0,00. Otherwise this invoice positions are showed useless with 0,00 €.
    Would this change be possible and meaningfull in your opinion?

    Enable discounts:
    Tick if you want to add discounts.

    Enable shipping:
    Tick if you want to add shipping (postage and packaging).

    Hello @gaurav,

    if you enable the shipping and discount, it always gets showed on the invoice. Also when there is no amount calculated/typed in.

    Wouldn`t it make more sense when it′s only showed if there ist a amount higher than 0,00 €.

    For example:
    Often we don′t give a discount but the row is nevertheless showed. The costumer could think, oh no discount for me, which could be prevent with this logic.

    Hi there, @edvanture,

    Thanks for clarifying the enhancement you suggested – that’s a good one! I think of it as a filed that you can check on/off upon creating the invoice, to whether display it or not.

    You can still tick on and off these settings from CRM Settings > Invoicing > General Invoice Settings, however I see where your use case comes from if you have the need to toggle this on and off depending on the specific invoice.

    I have created an open feature request for our development and product teams to consider. We don’t have an ETA at the moment for the feature to be developed, I’m afraid.?
