CRM – QuickBooks – Paypal
-
Hi all,
I’ve been using the CRM for a long while now and it’s been great and steadily improved but as business grows, I’m getting more to the point of dumping it in favor of quickbooks online. Let me explain;
My current use of the crm captures all leads and enquiries to my site, etc. Someone orders something and I log into paypal and invoice them. In turn, the paypal integration then downloads my transactions (very well) and turns my lead into a customer. Everything sounds great although some things like refunds, do not actually get reversed but I can live with that.
Now, month end comes along and I have to export my (new) contacts to quickbooks. Then, go to paypal and pull the contact and create the invoice and then go through the motion of posting the payment. It really is a pain in the backside. It’s far more work than it should be.
Now I do love the crm but is it worth it at this point. I am now thinking from an ease of use prospective to just use quickbooks full time. Invoice directly from there and request payment through their online system. Invoice created and automatically marked as paid. I know that there was some talk before jetpack came along about a possible integration of crm and quickbooks. Is this still on the radar now or as a future maybe item? I’m just struggling right now weighing the benefits of the crm against the ease of use of my quicbooks online subscription.
I know that nothing is as easy as it sounds but my ideal would be a bi-directional sync of both jetpack crm and quickbooks. I’d love to create/edit invoices in crm/qb and have them synchronized. I wonder if anyone else has a similar issue?
Anyway, thanks for the time reading and I really would like to know what you guys are thinking. Cheers.
