“Cron event not found” on posts with expiry disabled

Hi,

We are experiencing a similar problem to other people recently. When we try to create a new post without an expiry time set and the enable expiry checkbox unchecked, we get the error “Cron event not found”, and it sets an expiry time of +1 month from when the post is published. In the settings, for Global and Post type of post, no default is set.

We have tried using the alpha release 2.8 but that didn’t fix the issue in our testing.
