Every time LiteSpeed Cache updates on my site, it creates two cron events “litespeed_task_imgoptm_pull” and “litespeed_task_lqip” with no attached actions. Sometimes I see a message under Site Health that these events were late to run.

I only use the caching features of LSC, I don’t use any other feature like image optimization, page optimization, quic.cloud, crawler, etc. How do I stop these events from being created when LSC updates to a new version?

    WordPress 6.2, LiteSpeed Cache 5.4, PHP 8.0

Please let me know if you need any other info.

it’s normal sometimes you see it late to run , the wp will restore it on next cron

it’s coded upon plugin activation , but since it has no action , the impact is negligible

thank you. an option to keep the events disabled/inactive would be nice, but it’s good that they have negligible impact.
