    To Allin1SEO,

I recently installed a plugin called “WP-CRON” which checks all the CRON schedules and events on your WordPress site.

It lists two Allin1 SEO CRON Events that are both scheduled to run (One Daily and One Weekly), but the Plugin lists then as having “NONE” for associated actions, which according to the Plugin Documentations means that they don’t perform any function. They said this sometimes happens if a plugin doesn’t “clean-up” old events when they are either upgraded or deleted.

Are these perhaps old CRON events from an earlier version of the plugin, or is there a reason for them:

    1) aioseop_cron_check_remote_notices, ACTION=NONE, Next RUN: 2022-05-09 08:46:57 in 15 hours 5 minutes, ARGUMENTS=None, SCHEDULE=Once Daily
    2) aiosp_sitemap_daily_update_cron, ACTION=NONE, Next RUN: 2022-05-10 08:33:49 in 1 day 14 hours, ARGUMENTS=None, SCHEDULE=Once Weekly

    Thanks.

    Michael

    Hey @einstem,

Those CRON events definitely belong to an earlier version of the plugin. If you are using AIOSEO v4.x, then you can safely cancel these CRON events since they no longer serve a purpose. I’ll make a note of this so that we can look into cancelling them ourselves in a future update.
