Cron for plugins after WordPress Update

  • Hi, I have created a plugin that uses wordpress cron to recreate a file hourly. You press once and schedules it hourly properly.

    In an installation of 3.9.5 that was updated to 3.9.6 automatically the cron job stop scheduling untill I pressed for reschedule.

    Does updates delete previous cron schedules or do I need to add some code to make the cron scheduling more persistent?
