Cron Job automated delete products based on category

I have seen a previous thread regarding automated deleting, and have looked in to the manual cron nuking located here:

I tested this and works well, however in the previous request regarding this the OP wanted to be able set up a CRON job within your hosting tools to nuke Orders by Order Status. What I want to do only delete products in a certain category, or even better not in a certain category etc.?
Is it possible to format the url or otherwise achieve this?
