Cron Jobs

I have WordPress up and running, I would like to post my entries by e-mail. I have successfully run the wp-mail.php script and it collects my mails. I would like to automate this process but I have no experience of setting up CRON to do this, could someone suggest what i’d need to enter to get it to run wp-mail.php every 10 minutes.

I have putty to get onto server via SSH, I can enter a crontab but am unsure what to write or how to save it.
