I’ve been testing out this plugin, but am having some issues with the automatic feed grabbing via cron, however manual attempts to fetch posts work perfectly.

In the WpeMatico settings page I have checked the box to disable WP-Cron and use the external hoster, and in my cPanel I have setup a cron to run every 5 minutes pointing to the wpe-cron.php and wp-cron.php files.

If I manually browse to the wpe-cron.php file it says CRON executed successfully, however the cron does not pull any posts in.

Something I noticed: the ‘Next run’ time does not update on the Dashboard widget and on the Campaign overview page, however on the edit campaign page the correct time is displayed for the next cron job (no posts are imported when the time passes)…

There are also no entries in my error_log

Does anyone know why this isn’t working properly?

    Regards,
    Shane.

    Just an update:

I’ve done some digging and in both the functions.php file and wpe-cron.php the variables $activated and $cronnextrun are never set and don’t actually output anything if I dump the variables to the log. This makes me believe that when I click ‘Update’ or ‘Publish’ on a campaign with active scheduling the values are never actually saved. Am I going in the right direction?

    Thanks.
