cron scheduler doesn't work

Same here. Using WP 4.1.1.

Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled this plugin just to see if that might jumpstart the feed updating process. So far, it’s now been 7 minutes since I clicked “Update the feed Database”, and we still have spinning beach ball, along with the very comforting message, “Last Update of the Feed Database: Dec 31, 1969 @ 7:00 pm; 45 years ago.”

I fixed the problem, now works. I followed the answer of this post: https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/182045/why-cron-doesnt-work-to-me
Using

php /home/$USER/public_html/wp-cron.php

AND NOT

https://www.example.com/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron=1 > /dev/null 2>&1

as said by the author of this plugin, now my feed update every 10 minutes correctly.

Anyway I am on a VPS. I don’t know if you can do that in a shared hosting…
