Cropped Images Displaying Original Images in Posts/Pages

Thanks in advance for any help and guidance you all can provide.

My current issue is strange. Uploaded photos that have been cropped and saved via the “edit photo” button in WordPress, when added to a post or page, are displaying the original image rather than the cropped version. However, when the image is clicked on it will open to the cropped version.

The source of the page shows that it’s bringing in the original image and linking to the cropped image. I assume that this is a theme function problem, I am just not sure what I should be looking for. Any help is greatly appreciated.
