• Dear Johannes,

Recently my cropped images are showing up in the media library grid mode. This is very wierd because the older cropped images are not shown.

    Dear Johannes,

This is getting quite urgent, since I am doubting whether or not to use this plugin any longer in WPML multilingual sites.

Hoping to hear back from you soon.

    Kind regards,

Hey, apologies for late response, I have simply not had time to look into this issue. I’ve now tested this using the latest WPML version and I can reproduce this issue.

There might have been some changes to WPML code that cause this issue. WPML is supposed to respect WPML config and copy the relevant plugin post meta fields (acf_image_aspect_ratio_crop_*) fields to translated attachments but this is not happening.

Missing these fields will cause attachments to show up in media list.

I will have to see if there is any way to fix this.

Hey, it took a bit more time than I expected but I just released version v4.1.4 of the plugin which should fix this issue so cropped images will not be visible for any new images.

If there are any existing cropped images in the media gallery, they won’t be removed. To remove these I would recommend re-cropping the image on the post page and after that removing the extra image visible in the gallery.

    Thanks
