Cropping and saving optimized images jpg format

I haven’t seen cropping jpgs resulting in pngs. Could you enable debugging and pastebin the logs for me?

I have a screenshot here I even got the new plugin this link is the screenshot showing you the jpg images getting switched to png images after I use the post thumbnail editor I will try your suggestion above and see what happens

I Took your suggestion and this is what happened I still see PNG Images and what baffles me is the size of each image compared to the size of the original images I upload its crazy if this could be fixed this plugin would be the best I ever seen I even checked the beta one after the update and still get these results
