Cropping issue

  • Hi there,

    I am setting up a theme which has (as 99% of the themes) a logo as well as an icon (favicon) option. When I upload the logo it WP prompts me to crop the image, which results in an error “There has been an error cropping your image”. Cropping works with any other aspect, e.g. the favicon/icon. I also checked with different other themes and it is the same problem.

    Any idea?

    P.S.I am aware of all the other topics with regard to cropping, but they do not help, as cropping is partly not working, so it cannot be a server issue with regard to e.g. a missing library.
