    Hi Josh,

I just used Meteor Slides for the first time. It looks very promising.

I encountered one problem though that I can’t seem to fix. I’ve looked at the other questions in the support forum, but none of them helped.

I have 3 slides, all 3 are 960 x 300. I have added them to a slideshow and everything seemed fine. Then I noticed that the slideshow seemed a little bit too small. If I look at the image info in firefox it says “960px × 300px (scaled to 940px × 294px)”. I really don’t understand where that scaling is coming from. In the settings I have set the dimensions to 960 and 300.

To be absolutely sure I am doing things right I deleted the slides and deleted the images from the media folder. After that I added the slides again, but that did not solve the issue. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

    Thanks in advance!

  • My 500×350 slides are also cropping to 500×200.

@realblueorange If you post a link I can tell you for sure, but it sounds like the container the slideshow is in might not be large enough for the slideshow and it is shrinking a bit to fit.

@thecomplex I think you uploaded the slide images before setting the current slideshow size, try re-uploading the slide images.

    Hi Josh,

Thanks for your quick answer. I looked a bit deeper into the CSS of the site, which I should have done earlier. Your reply is totally correct.

I am using the twenty twelve theme for the website and now I see that the page is inside a td with 20px of right padding. Removing that removes the problem.

Next time I’ll check things better before starting a support thread…

I’ll set this thread to resolved, and write a review…

Thanks again for a great plugin and great support/

CORRECTION: it wasn’t the 20-12 theme but Atahualpa…
