Crossed-out text in sidebar

  • I am using the Rowling theme (WordPress.com child theme) and in general I am super content with the design and structure.

    However, I have a problem with the sidebar. On the starting homepage everything is still fine, but if you go onto another page (e.g. a blog article), all the text at the sidebar is suddenly crossed out.

    I have no idea how to fix that. Can somebody help me?

    Hi @iris091180,

    The comment form checkbox labeled “Mit der Nutzung dieses Formulars erkl?rst du dich mit der Speicherung und Verarbeitung deiner Daten durch diese Website einverstanden.” contains a <strike> tag which doesn’t seem to have a closing tag, causing the element to wrap all of the following content on the page (including the sidebar).

    If the checkbox is output by a plugin, I’d recommend you to disable the plugin and check if that resolves the issue.
