  • Looks good. (I was a little bit puzzled about your hoi polloi link category)

It isn’t used to convey any sort of stance or heirarchy. Just means, “the people” as far as I’m concerned.

The meaning is “the common people” , the masses – as opposed to high society. Literally means “the many”.

    Correct. ??
    How is it misleading, though?

I think the text in the sidebar needs more space from the edge.

Looks good to me. Easy to read, colors coordinated and work well, I didn’t see anything that stood out as being in need of change.

I find the browns and greys a bit jarring, like they are not really in the same family to even contrast correctly?
It could just be the way the colors are rendering on my computer though.
And, to be even more frank, I think with your color scheme being somewhat duo-tone, I think if your post icons were in the same color scheme, it might tie the whole design together more?
Again, the colors may just be wonky on my machine.
I adore the ragged edged borders.

    Rori,
I think you’re right about the icons. They were just added recently and I made them rather quickly and now that you mention it they don’t seem as though they’re “part” of the color suite. That was something that had always kind of irked me…so that’s something I’ll probably work on tonight.
    Allusion,
I added a few pixels of padding from the left edge, which is where I’m assuming you meant. And it does make it look a bit better.
