Whenever I update my Divi theme, the CSS breaks because Autoptimize’s CSS URL changes. I think it’s because my caching plugin isn’t “smart” enough to clear itself. I use the “Hyper Cache Extended” caching plugin (because it provides better GTMetrix scores for my site than every other major caching plugin). I have to manually clear the HCE cache every time Divi gets updated. Is there a way to fix this?

Worst case scenario, which cache plugin plays best with Autoptimize? I’m looking for the caching plugin that is the fastest, while also being smart enough to automatically clear itself when Autoptimize’s CSS/JS URLs change.

    Thanks for the help!

hmmm .. you could ask HCE’s developer to hook into the upgrader_process_complete action to clear the cache when theme or plugins got updated?

    hope this helps,

    Thanks, Frank. I’ll do that.

In your opinion, what’s the best/fastest caching plugin that works seamlessly with Autoptimize?

I’m not religious about page caching plugins; I mostly use WP Super Cache simply because I know it, but have done some testing with and have cooperated with Hyper Cache, Comet Cache & KeyCDN cache enabler developers for good compatibility and have heard great things about some others as well ??
