    Hi Nico,

Can you please provide me with a screenshot of what you’re seeing? This will give us a better idea of the results you’re getting. You can upload your screenshot to an image hosting website like Imgur.

    Kind regards,
    Alex

Hi Nico, thanks for the screenshot. If possible, please, open your browser console and check for errors in red text. If errors are present in red text, please, send a screenshot as per the above method so we can take a look. Here is how to open the browser console https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/#step-3-diagnosis. Thanks again.

The cookie plugin is running for some time now. The problem with siteorigin is since yesterday.

    Hi Nico,

Thank you for the screenshot. The cookie errors appear to be unrelated.
In the latest SiteOrigin CSS we’re using the WordPress version of CodeMirror (it’s the name of the underlying editor library). This was done for performance and consistency related reasons.

It’s possible you have a plugin installed that’s not compatible with that version of CodeMirror. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    Kind regards,
    Alex

I disabled all but siteorigin plugin and changed to default theme. Then I cleared caches. No result. Css stays black and no save possible.

    Hi Nico,

Thanks for clarifying. I’ve run a few tests using the CSS you’re website and I’m unable to replicate this. Can you please try reinstalling SiteOrigin CSS to see if that helps? You can reinstall the plugin by navigating to Plugins > Installed Plugins and scroll down to SiteOrigin CSS. Deactivate SiteOrigin CSS and then delete it – this will not result in losing your CSS. Scroll to the top of the page and click Add New and then search for and install SiteOrigin CSS. When prompted, activate SiteOrigin CSS.

    Kind regards,
    Alex
