CSS Error on W3 Validator

  • I am on this kick to clean up all the css and html errors on our site. right now there are a bunch being put out by this plugin.

    And if you scroll down about half way on this page you will see the MC errors from the plugin. The space in the labels is causing this.

    Is there a way to change this?

  • Hi there Mark,

    Thanks for posting. I certainly understand the concern over those validation errors. Due to the way that the Group names get pulled in to the plugin and form from MailChimp and how the form then communicates the Group selections back to MailChimp upon signup, the labels will need to match what is set up on the MailChimp side. Unfortunately that does mean if the Group names contain spaces in MailChimp, they will need to also contain those spaces for the purposes of the plugin and subscribe form to use them correctly. The spaces being present shouldn’t cause any noticeable issues in the CSS of your site however.
