CSS file replaced background shows no-cdn.shortpixel.ai when using custom CDN

That’s because you wrote https://no-cdn.shortpixel.ai/spai on the field API URL on ShortPixel’s settings. There you have to write your CNAME instead, like https://images.example.com/spai.

Thanks for the quick reply, I actually have the name of the custom CDN in my settings.

Just maybe to elaborate, I am using a Cloudfront CDN where I have configured the source as no-cdn.shortpixel.ai. Then in the DNS settings, I have added a CNAME for images.example.com (of course not really example.com) and it points to my cloudfront distribution domain.

Settings on Shortpixel – My own CDN domain
Cloudfront CDN source – no-cdn.shortpixel.com
CNAME on DNS – points to Cloudfront domain

I’m not sure if this is the correct setup for what I am trying to achieve which is the files come out of shortpixel and get cached in cloudfront and then distributed using my CDN custom domain.

Sure, these are the 3 screenshots. I tried deleting the css cache as well as distribution cache. I tried checking the css directly off your server using the no-cdn domain but it seems to generate the background images directly off there.

Thanks to the Shortpixel team for their support, the issue has been resolved. It was not working because the HOST header was not being passed to the origin. They have documented the process for Cloudfront on their website.
