• Hi,

I would like to know how useless css files can be ignored or disabled from the <head> of the page please?

    See this screenshot: https://imgur.com/0VXULlm

The green lines are the CSS files that I don’t need because I don’t use the features. Including a Google font I don’t need because I’ve got an other one in my theme.

The red lines are the CSS files that I will never use because I’m not using the grids at all in my layouts.

That’s in total 11 css files, out of 14, that could be ignored and make my pages load faster > better seo.

Would it be possible to add a configuration panel where we can switch on/off the css files depending on our needs?

Or just add a enable/disable switch for each feature, where if we don’t use a feature, all the associated assets aren’t loaded on page?

That would help the technical optimisation a lot!

Thank you in advance for your help.
    Cheers ??

    Hi there,

Sorry for the late response, apparently I’m not getting notifications for these support forums anymore.

I actually recommend just using the minified assets. You can enable them on the Recipes > Settings > Advanced page. That should load significantly less files.

If you don’t want the Google font you’ll have to remove it in the Template Editor: https://www.wpultimaterecipe.com/docs/011-changing-fonts

    Kind regards,
    Brecht
