CSS Help – Rearranging Object Position

Hi, I have been messing around with the StudioPress theme and managed to do a fair bit of editing based on trial and error. It has been a slooooow process because I have absolute no knowledge on CSS/HTML.

I am wondering how to move a navigation bar from below the Page Header to above it. Say for example from the position of the nav bar on my site https://www.theblackjournal.com to a position like https://www.johnchow.com

I’ve been searching for the code for 2 days no to no avail. The furthest I’ve got is that it involves the div id which I haven’t figured out how to edit yet. So HELP! Thnx.
