    Hi andpozn,

Your widget CSS is overridden/reset, fairly ruthlessly, by MMM.

I’ve been working on an option in the development version of MMM to disable the CSS Resets.

Please could you try installing the development version (under Other Versions) from this page? https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/megamenu/developers/

Then, in the Theme Editor you should see a ‘Include CSS Resets’ option – untick that.

Warning: I haven’t done much testing with the development version, so if you run into any issues please delete it and reinstall the latest stable version by going to Plugins > Add New and searching for Mega Menu.

    Regards,
    Tom

The proposed solution doesn’t work. Widget styles is still not working.

I think that’s the issue. Your styles interrupt my styles. https://prntscr.com/8axlvi

    Hi andpozn,

    Thats exactly it ??

I’ve just fixed a bug in the development version which would have been stopping you from unchecking checkboxes in the theme editor (I think if you go back in you will see the Reset CSS option is still checked, even though you unchecked it?)

I am working on the next version at the moment and hope to have it released early tomorrow, so please wait until then or try reinstalling a fresh copy of the development version.

    Regards,
    Tom

Yeah, we need a version that doesn’t overrides our theme’s css with mmm’s css.

hope will be included in the next release or something

There will be a new menu theme option in 1.9 called ‘Reset Widget Styling’.

If you uncheck the option MMM will only apply CSS to the menu elements (ul.mega-sub-menu, li.mega-menu-item & a.mega-menu-link) but all other elements within the menu (eg a, li, ul, div, img) will be unaffected – those elements will pick up styling from your theme.

If you don’t want any CSS to be applied then you can disable CSS Output in the Mega Menu settings.

    Regards,
    Tom
