    Hi @slieptsov,

To help diagnose the issue with CSS/JS minifying not working, could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look? If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.

Additionally, please ensure that you are using the latest version of Jetpack Boost and that there are no conflicts with other plugins by temporarily deactivating them to see if minifying starts working. Also, check if there are any console errors in your browser’s developer tools while accessing these pages, which could hint at what might be going wrong with the JS/CSS.

Looking forward to your reply with the details.

    Hi?@slieptsov,

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!

    Hi @slieptsov,

Thank you for patiently waiting. We looked into the issue and it turns out that the CSS/JS minification and concatenation features of Jetpack are designed to work with files that have been enqueued through the WordPress Enqueue API. This means that inline styles and scripts, like those produced when you use register_block_style or the additional CSS/JS added via plugins, won’t be processed by these features.

Our UI may not have clarified this limitation, as it currently references “styles” without specifying that it pertains only to enqueued files. We are now aware of this oversight and will take steps to improve our documentation and user interface to communicate this detail better. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your understanding.

I hope this helps, but if there are other questions, please let me know.
