CSS not affecting main navigation bar or menu items

    Hey everyone,

    I’m using latest WP and the Faith and Hope theme.

    I’m trying to fit more onto one line for the main navigation bar so I’m trying to reduce the margins or padding between items and remove the bullet list thing. However, every bit of CSS code that I found online didn’t affect the menu at all… Any ideas?

    I’ve tried combinations of things like

    .navbar ul ol a {
  margin: 0 !important;
  padding: 0 !important;
}

    and such…
